I got a Wii for Christmas and the HPB game! In two days I beat it, mostly because I have no life and I loved it so much. Now, this was my first ever video game I have ever owned. I never play video games, so I don't have much experience about what's good and bad, but I had a great time with this game!
It's much more like the book than the movie is--for the most part. I loved playing through the narration (although it was a bit annoying not being able to escape duels with the random Slytherins at times), and now I'm just running around Hogwarts looking for those crests! The details are unreal! Like how they made sure to keep the clock tower connected to the infirmary! And I LOVE the paved courtyard, it's beeeeeeeautiful! I still get lost sometimes, but I'm getting better and better with navigating my way around the HUGE castle and grounds. There are so many awesome places to go. Bonus: I love throwing benches at students who yell at Harry. Serves them right ![]()

I really want to try the HBP game! I have Order of the Phoenix for Wii and I can't even finish the game it's so tough. The Wii remote won't do the spells I'm trying!
I remember getting the first Harry Potter and SoS game on the computer and playing it non-stop! The best HP game I got was the Qudditch one! That was alot of fun, naturally I was the Slytherin team in the beginning, and then moved onto the American team.

I got a Wii about a month before Christmas and then I couldn't wait to get the game! I've been to busy to play it often, so I'm only about half way through. But I loveeee it! It's so much more fun than I thought it was going to be. Although I do admit I still get lost all the time, it's really enjoyable! I'm not a video game person either, and have never bothered with wanting to own/play them before (okay, besides like Guitar Hero
) but this one is wonderful. I even sucked my father into playing it. I needa find time to finish because it's seriously awesome -- I hope DH has a game for Wii too. ![]() |

Oh, I know, I needed Nearly Headless Nick to help me around a lot, but once I had finished the game and got to have endless day, I found my way around MUCH better. Endless day is so awesome! I can't get over how amazing Hogwarts is. There are just so many cool corridors and passageways... I love how you can go underground from the potions dungeons and the Quidditch meeting spot... it's so fun!
Man, I had so much trouble beating Crabbe and Goyle at dueling a few times. ANNOYING. Sometimes the remote confuses my Expelliarmus and Protego, and that gets really frustrating.

I love all of the secret passageways too, and it's always exciting when I can find my way somewhere without any help hahaha.
And I really love how they've set up all the activities, Quidditch in particular is really fun for me. Although I like dueling, the random ones that come up (like beating up miscellaneous Slytherins) can get bothersome. I'm also so crazed when it comes to getting all the crests -- I spend forever trying to make sure I've picked them all up, lol. ![]() Ugh, that's the problem I get with dueling too. Although it tends to confuse my Stupefy and Expelliarmus and even Levicorpus sometimes. But, dueling is still really fun to me. I think I might using Levicorpus on people the most. |

I think you get more points for Levicorpus and Expelliarmus than you do for Stupefy, so that's good
I'm still trying to figure out how the scoring works on those mini-games: like how do you do get a good vs. a great on Potions? That gets frustrating, too.Crests are SO FUN. That's what you end up doing in Endless Day is just running around Hogwarts collecting crests, and it's addicting. I only have about 10 to find now and it's really, really hard. I've been allll over and I can't find them anywhere.
